The project
Adopt an apple tree from the farm "Hof Birnstingl-Gottinger" in Hitzendorf (Austria) and receive your harvest in the form of Demeter organic apple juice at home. The Farmer Birgit will take care of your adoption and take its picture. Also, you will be able to download the adoption certificate and, if you wish, plan your visit to the farm. You do not enter into any long-term commitment: once you receive your harvest and you enjoyed the experience, you may decide to renew and extend the adoption.

What do you adopt?
Adopt an apple tree that we cultivate based on the Organic Farming and Demeter regulations of the European Union. During the process of adoption you can choose a name that we will engrave on a plaque and hang on your tree. Varieties: Crown Prince Rudolf, Arlet, Crimson Crisp, Jonagold, Idared, Gala, Golden Delicious, Gelber Spitzler, Bohnapfel, Marienapfel, Gravensteiner, Natyra, Topaz. The productive life of an apple tree is around 30-40 years. For as long as you want to keep it and we can continue taking care of it, you can renew your adoption year after year. If your apple tree dies, we will replace it with no additional cost and assuring the delivery of your harvest from other trees. A apple tree from our farm produces an average of 30 l each season. You do not have to commit to the consumption of the whole harvest. Each season you may decide what quantity to reserve and pay the maintenance in accordance with the amount you reserve. This way you will only pay for what you consume and we can plan and sell the remaining harvest amount to others.
What will you receive?
During harvest season you can progressively receive the quantity of harvest that you reserve on the moment of adoption. You will be able to receive a minimum of 2 boxes, which can be increased up to 5 boxes according to your needs. Shipping format: __6 x Demeter organic apple juice (1l, reusable glass bottle) __ The juice is a selection from our orchards and each variety (Crown Prince Rudolf, Arlet, Crimson Crisp, Jonagold, Idared, Gala, Golden Delicious, Gelber Spitzler, Bohnapfel, Marienapfel, Gravensteiner, Natyra, Topaz) is picked and pressed at the ideal ripening point. The mixture of the varieties results in a refreshing, naturally cloudy apple juice with a balanced sugar-acidity ratio and a fully ripe, fragrant aroma. The juices are bottled in reusable glass bottles and should not be stored above +30°C or below 0°C. Instead the apple juice should be stored in a cool place. Unopened, it can be kept for up to one year. Once the juice is opened, it is best to drink it within a few days. You will receive your harvest personalized with the name you chose in the adoption process.
