You adopt 4m² of a plot of orchard from our farm in Rivesaltes (Frankrike). The cultivation here is certified as organic by the European Union since 2019. We offer you to adopt a part of our organic family orchard in the south of France. Our area, Roussillon, is characterized by a hot, dry, very windy climate with a lot of sun, which protect us from most diseases and thus make Organic Farming easier. This climate is also very effective to produce quality fruits, which are full of sun with a nice blush. We have selected various varieties of our farm for their qualities to make juice : __2 apricot varieties__: Royal du Roussillon trees planted in 2009 and Farlis trees planted in 2016, both are in Organic Farming since their plantation. The Royal du Roussillon variety is harvested at the beginning of July and is endemic to our area, whereas the other French variety called Farlis is harvested in mid-August. An apricot tree produces the fruits to make around 30 bottles of apricot nectar. __1 white grape variety__: a Muscat Blanc vine planted 2 times : 2005 & 2013, and cultivated in Organic Farming since 2019. This grape variety is harvested in August in our area. The Muscat Blanc is known for its characteristic flavour, and very high sweetness. Historically, this variety is used in Roussillon to produce Natural Sweet Wine. One vine makes one bottle of grape juice. __1 pomegranate variety__: This is variety is called NFG102 and it is the only one on the farm. It was planted in 2016 and directly grown in organic. Pomegranates are harvested in September and October. A pomegranate tree produces fruits to make around 4 bottles of pomegranate juice. Your plot of orchard produces an average of 18l of organic nectars and juices each season. You do not have to commit to ordering the entire harvest though. Each season you can decide how much you want to reserve, and you pay the maintenance cost according to that amount. This way you only pay for what you plan to consume, and we can offer any surplus harvest to others.
You can reserve between 2 and 4 boxes for the season, and then progressively plan the delivery of your boxes for any of the delivery dates available in the shipment calendar. Shipping format: __4.5l box of organic nectars and juices__ 2 x__ Organic apricot nectar__ (0.75l, glass bottle) 2 x __Organic pure apricot and grape juice__ (0.75l, glass bottle) 1 x __Organic white grape juice__ (0.75l, glass bottle) 1 x __Organic pomegranate juice__ (0.75l, glass bottle) * Organic apricot nectar : 55-60% pressed organic apricots, 35-40% water and 5% organic sugar, an unctuous and very perfumed juice * Organic pure apricot and grape juice: 60-65% pressed organic apricots, 35-40% organic white grapes juice; the unctuosity of apricots meets the sweet flavour of grapes * Organic white grape juice : 100% organic white grape, a juice very clear but full of sweetness and aromas * Organic pomegranate juice : 100% organic pomegranates, a juice with a very intense red, flavourful and with a low astringency * Our farm is composed of 75% apricot trees, 20% grapevines, and 5% pomegranate trees, we try to reproduce this composition in the juice box * Organic farming certified by the European Organic Farming label since 2016 * Our organic fruit juices can be drunk all day long: at breakfast, at snack time or even in the evening in a cocktail * Every juice is made without additives or preservatives and is flash pasteurised, which allows to keep them up to 3 years, (best-before date on the tap) in the cupboard without altering the taste The ingredient list as well as allergen information can be downloaded from "Additional Analysis".
