Adopt a cow of our flock "Ferme des 4 Saisons" in Reignier-Esery (Frankrike and receive your harvest in the form of Tomme de Savoie PGI cheese at home. The Farmer Philippe will take care of your adoption and take its picture. Also, you will be able to download the adoption certificate and, if you wish, plan your visit to the farm. As the production coming from one cow is big, the adoption is shared among various people. If you wish to have a bigger share, you may adopt more than once. You do not enter into any long-term commitment: once you receive your harvest and you enjoyed the experience, you may decide to renew and extend the adoption.

Vad adopterar du?

Adopt a cow of our flock in Reignier-Esery (Frankrike. Each cow produces an average of 250 liters of milk each season. With this amount we can produce around 21kg of Tomme de Savoie PGI cheese. Each cow is adopted by 12 CrowdFarmers who receive a box with 1.7 kg of Tomme de Savoie PGI cheese. The productive life of a cow is around 15 years. For as long as you want to keep it and we can continue taking care of it, you can renew your adoption year after year. If your cow dies, we will replace it with no additional cost and assuring the delivery of your harvest from other cows.

Vad får du?

The box of your harvest contains: __1 x Tomme de Savoie PGI cheese of about 1.7 Kg__ Made from raw, uncooked pressed milk with a diameter of about 20 centimeters and a height of 6 or 7 centimeters. The Tomme has a grey spotted and flowery rind with the inscription "Tomme de Savoie" on the edge or on top of the cheese in accordance with the PGI requirements. Its distinct taste, with delicate and subtle aromas, varies according to the duration of ripening and the seasons. Our Tomme matured for one month is sweet, smooth and particularly full of character. Tomme de Savoie cheese generally keeps well for two to three weeks, but not in any way. Ideally, Tomme de Savoie should be kept in its wrapping paper or in slightly perforated food paper to let the cheese breathe. Finally, freshness and humidity are the two necessary conditions for the proper storage of the cheese. If you have a cellar, take advantage of it! Otherwise, the vegetable compartment in your refrigerator will do just fine.
