Adopt 4 grape vines from the "Le Verger Bio de Véronique" farm in Rivesaltes (Francia) and receive your organic grapes at home. Véronique will take care of your adoption and take its picture. You will also be able to download the adoption certificate, and if you wish, plan your visit to the farm. You do not enter into any long-term commitment: Although your adoption will be renewed automatically, you will always be informed in advance and may decide to cancel your adoption at any time as long as the preparation has not yet begun.
You adopt 4 grape vines from our farm in Rivesaltes (Francia). The cultivation here is certified as organic by the European Union as of 2022. When placing the adoption you can choose a name which we will use to identify your grape vines. Our proposal here is the adoption of organic vines from our family farm in the South of France. The Roussillon region is characterised by a climate that is hot and dry, with abundant wind and sunshine, protecting our vines from the main diseases and thus facilitating Organic Farming. This particular climate is also very conducive to the production of extremely sweet and fragrant grapes. Grapes have a long history in the Roussillon region where a great deal of Vin Doux Naturel is produced. The main grape varieties are White Muscat and various types of Grenache (white, grey or red). Our vineyards are located in arid areas without irrigation, which gives us low-yielding vines that produce very aromatic grapes. For some years now, we have been picking the most beautiful bunches of our White Muscat grapes by hand and marketing them as table grapes because we are convinced that this variety is much better than the table grapes usually found in the shops. Muscat table grapes are therefore harvested at optimum maturity and then kept in cold storage so that the grapes can be marketed over several weeks. The rest of the crop is harvested mechanically and used to produce wine. Your adoption is 15 years old and its maximum lifespan is 30 years. For as long as you want to keep your adoption, and we can continue taking care of it, you can renew year after year. If your adoption stops producing for any reason, we will replace it with another, and guarantee you the delivery from the production of other units. Your grape vines produce an average of 12kg of organic grapes each season. You do not have to commit to ordering the entire harvest though. Each season you can decide how much you want to reserve, and you pay the maintenance cost according to that amount. This way you only pay for what you plan to consume, and we can offer any surplus harvest to others.
During the season, you will be able to receive the harvest that you are reserving now: a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 boxes. Once you have paid for the adoption, you will be able to plan your shipments from your user account. Shipping format: __3kg box of organic grape__ * White Muscat: a grape variety with irregular bunches and large golden fruit; very aromatic and with a high sugar potential, which makes it perfect for eating * Some grapes may be mottled due to exposure to intense sunlight, making it less regular and attractive than the usual table grape varieties * Organic farming certified by the European Organic Farming label since 2022 * The fruits are harvested when have reached their full maturity. As they cannot be harvested gradually, we keep the fruit in cold storage and send it to you little by little * Our farm is not a screw factory: each fruit is unique in appearance and size * One kilo contains between 2 and 5 bunches (the box contains between 6 and 15 bunches depending on the size) * If you keep them in a fresh and airy place, they can last up to 3 days in good condition (if you want them to last longer, you can keep them in the fridge)
