clementines
Les Lloses
You are too late to adopt a clementine tree from this Farmer. Check out the other projects.

The project

Adopt {publicVariety} from the farm "{farmName}" in {cityfarm} ({countryFarm}) and receive your harvest in the form of {production} at home. The Farmer {farmerName} will take care of your adoption and take its picture. Also, you will be able to download the adoption certificate and, if you wish, plan your visit to the farm. You do not enter into any long-term commitment: once you receive your harvest and you enjoyed the experience, you may decide to renew and extend the adoption.

What do you adopt?
Adopt a clementine tree of the Oronules variety cultivated without pesticides and nourished with organic fertilizers. Each {variety} bears an average of {masterUnits Max}kg per season. You can decide how many kilos you would like to reserve from your tree and pay the maintenance costs based on the chosen quantity. This helps the Farmer to plan and sell the remaining harvest amount from your tree to others. [*You can also adopt an orange tree here.*](http://www.crowdfarming.com/en/farmer/les-lloses/up/oranges-les-lloses)
What will you receive?
5kg box of clementines. The Oronules clementine, has a medium or small size, weighs between 80 and 100 grams, has an oval shape, with a great aroma and an intense flavor. Depending on the conditions of each year, the harvest can go from mid-October until the end of November. Keeping your clementines in a dry and cool place you will be able to enjoy them for at least two weeks.
When will you receive it?
Please, check the deadline for participating in this project (deadline for adoption) below. As of this date shipments begin. You can plan all the deliveries once you completed the adoption process. The Farmer will collect your harvest on demand and just before shipment so you will receive it fresh, not treated with wax or other preservatives.
Why should you adopt?
* Learn who produces your food, how and where. Receive your food in a conscious manner. * Buy directly from the farmer. Help to generate wealth and better jobs in the rural areas. * Plan ahead and enable the Farmer to produce on demand. This way we can avoid overproduction and fight food waste. * Reward Farmers who make an effort to use environmentally-friendly packaging and cultivation techniques.

Nuria Orts
I spent all my childhood in Les Lloses, I always enjoyed the contact with nature. When I had to decide what to study, I opted for economics, but when I started working I immediately realised that it wasn't what I wanted to do in life. I took various agricultural trainings and I began to collaborate with my father in the cultivation of the land on the farm. Little by little, I have changed the way I cultivate, leaving behind the intensive systems based on synthetic products and betting on processes that adapt to my objective of obtaining healthy fruit and improving the environment. This is something that, apart from motivating me enormously, inspires me because it reminds me of the way of farming that I knew as a child.
Nuria Orts

"This mindset makes me optimistic about agriculture. There is a balance between my professional and personal philosophy and the product I can offer. I have the opportunity to allow farming activities to flow naturally, to allow processes to occur at their moment, without forcing them, and for the benefit of everyone, producers and consumers."

Les Lloses
Les Lloses
Les Lloses is located in the municipality of Sagunto, in the district of Gausa, which lies at the foot of the eastern end of the Sierra Calderona, when it reaches the Mediterranean Sea. To the west, it borders a small mountain known as the Muntanyeta de les Lloses. To the north, five kilometres away, the mountain of Sagunto, enclosed by the walls of its Roman castle. To the east, 6 km away, is the Marjal del Moro wetland, an ornithological reserve on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. This special enclave is not only a unique environment, but also provides a particularly favourable climate for the cultivation of citrus fruits and pomegranates. The agricultural estate covers 31 hectares and is concentrated around its Masía (Mas les Lloses), a building more than 100 years old with a modernist touch. In les Lloses different varieties of oranges, clementines and pomegranates are cultivated, in a completely respectful manner with the environment, thanks to the use of organic fertilizers and the maximum use of useful fauna.
